Character Creation

Updated: Jun 27, 2019

Since I was little, I loved creating new characters all the time. Usually they consisted of cute girls with long hair that were perfect at everything. Since then I learned that flaws and details make a character. Flaws help the audience to relate to the character and details help individualize the character from the much watered down competition.

When I create a character I usually sketch doodles of the character I envision first, then go in-depth with their information to conceptualize the base idea. Thinking deep and finding out everything about your character really helps to shape the way they are, how they react, and especially what they look like.

The Character Creation Template will be on my Creations Blog page, in the upper left side in a small box called "CC Template." Click that and it will download a pdf file.
